Scarecrow!!

Take some old clothes, a bale of straw and some paperclips... What do you get? Well a scarecrow of course! With the boys acting as supervisors we were able to take advantage of the beautiful weather that we are having and build a scarecrow to put on our front porch. Of course the quest started with a google search of "how to build a scarecrow"... ki

ow to make him stay together or what to use as a head. Turns out that the easiest way is to use paperclips to attached the pants and shirt and to use a pillowcase as the head with a board down the shirt to hold his head up.

We put the pants and shirt together inside and then Abigail proceeded to drag the clothes outside to the driveway to start construction. Mom and Abigail began stuffing the shirt while the boys looked on from their car seats. It took some help from Dad to finish stuffing and to attach the head but in the end we were rather impressed with ourselves.

We took some pictures on the front porch of our new creation and now he is standing guard over the Delp household.
