Today was Guy's First day back to work since the twins were born. Which also then meant that it was my first day alone with the twins. Abigail went to the zoo with Nana and Pop-pop so it was a way to ease back into being home alone with the kiddos. The day went really well, we were all dressed, fed and I was showered before 10:30. The boys then nursed again around 11 which we did another tandem nursing session, our second of the day and that too went well. We had a lunch date with Guy at 12 and we made it there on time--all really good things and then headed to Target for a number of things, but most importantly MORE DIAPERS. The boys and I easily survived our first day at home alone--tomorrow will be more of a test with Abigail home too. Justin also had his first real tear today and it was because he wanted to eat and honestly it hadn't been that long since he last eat, he's more of my "on demand" eater and he'd eat all day if he could. Abigail also had her first Pony ride at the zoo and we were lucky enough to see some pictures which see seemed to really enjoy herself.
This evening was our big firsts for the boys though--their first real baths. Both boys stumps fell off and tonight was the big night. Guy sat on the edge of our tub and their little tub filled with warm water rested on an empty tote. Both boys did VERY well. Justin was a little less sure of his new bath surroundings,while Ryan just chilled in the little tub like he was at the spa.
