Good Times and Great Friends

This past weekend not only did was have fantastic weather but we had the chance to get together with two of my college roommates and their kids!! Debbie and Morgan came down on Friday afternoon and stayed till Saturday afternoon and Julie and Xander came down Saturday afternoon. Friday during the day we just hung out with the kiddos. It was great, Morgan is such a peanut compared to my chunky monkeys and Justin just could not understand how someone his size could do all these things that he couldn't. He stared and looked in wonder trying to figure it all out. Friday night after all the kiddos were in bed, Debbie and I headed out for a beer or two. We left Guy with three sleeping babies and one awake toddler, who was supposed to be sleeping, but I knew he could handle her.

Saturday morning, Debbie and I got up at the crack of dawn to go to the MOPS consignment sale, and again left Guy with 4 sleeping kiddos. We hoped and hoped that it would still be that way when we got home and it was!! We had a great time and got some really good deals!! It was even better after Guy made us pancakes for breakfast.

Then Julie and Xander came down for the afternoon. Once Xander warmed up to us and let go of his death grip on Julie, all the kiddos did well. Morgan slept as did the boys and the big kids played outside while us girls chatted. After lunch we got the big kiddos in the pool and Morgan thought about it. Morgan also got to touch grass on her feet for the first time...not a big fan. All in all it was a GREAT visit with GREAT friends, somethings have really changed, like the five kids we had in tow, but most things haven't changed a bit!!
