Our week without Guy

Last week, Guy went out of town, and we all survived!! Nana was here all week, with the exception of a few hours, and I couldn't have done it all week alone without her help. Abigail also got to get out of the house and go to Grandma and Grandpa's house overnight, which was ALSO a huge help, b/c she is a bundle of energy that can sometimes take it out of you. We had a very busy week, while Guy was gone, I worked, Justin had his PT eval and I had a meeting which I gracefully got out of!! Things were difficult at times, and boy did I miss his help in the middle of the night, but all in all it really wasn't a bad week. Thankfully the hardest day was Friday afternoon, by then I was spent, and so was Nana, and we even had an extra set of hands thanks to our surprise visit from Uncle Neal..but Guy was home a few short hours later and all was well. Perhaps most of the trouble on Friday was becuase of my genius idea to do a last minute Valentine's Day project with the kiddos for Guy. The activity caused an uproar with all of the kiddos--see our other post for more details on that. So Uncle Neal's visit was quite a pleasant surprise, he had been up north for business and got caught in the major wind storm that we were having and could not get out of Newark. So Guy called from CA to let us know he was on his way, he arrived late Thursday night and took off early Sat. morning. It was great to see him and Abigail had a great time with her special visitor, and without him, we wouldn't have all the Great pictures depicting our Valentine's Day craft project.
